NA Recovery is an online support system for recovering addicts. They state,"Our primary purpose is to carry a message to the still-suffering addict." They have an array of services, including a chat room, open 24/7. This is a place described as "a community of addicts, working together to share our experience, strength, and hope to stay clean, Just for Today." There is a history of na-recovery.org as well as other useful information. Core principles to their recovery program include: Admitting there is a problem, seeking help, engaging in a thorough self-examination, confidential self-disclosure, making amends for harm done, and helping other drug addicts who want to recover.

The 2010 Vital Statistics Report for the City of Philadelphia reports a population of 1,526,006. 646,721 (43%) of which were black non-Hispanics, 565,235 (37%) white non-Hispanics, 187,611 (12%) Hispanics, and 97,081 (6%) Asian non-Hispanics. The largest percentage of the population white and Asian non-Hispanic were between the ages of 20 and 30, while among black non-Hispanics and Hispanics the largest percentage were younger age groups.
This report also mentioned "analyses of population by planning districts demonstrate significant clustering by race-ethnicity." It further describes the areas each race-ethnicity seems to inhabit: non-Hispanic white Northeast and South Philadelphia, non-Hispanic black West and North Philadelphia, Hispanics North and Lower Northeast Philadelphia, Asians South and Lower Northeast Philadelphia.
